A View From Space

Astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain Mark Kelly, who piloted the space shuttle Endeavor on its final mission, visited Georgia State Feb. 1 as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series. Kelly is married Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot and critically injured during an assassination attempt in 2011. Giffords, who knew her husband was speaking at GSU, sent a message that Kelly read: "Be passionate, be courageous, be strong, be your best."
