OrgSync
What is OrgSync?
OrgSync is your gateway to involvement and getting connected at Georgia State. OrgSync is an online community for GSU students and organizations that centralizes campus involvement by streamlining organization communication and helping to build a stronger campus community. Once you create your personal profile you can access your personal and organization event calendars, create your own ePortfolio featuring your involvement, upload photos and lots more!
How to Register Your Account
Using OrgSync is easy! You will use your OrgSync account to learn about campus and organization events, communicate with organization leaders, participate in campus-wide polls and discussions, generate verified records of your involvement with co-curricular transcripts, and much more!
Accounts may be set-up by any member of the Georgia State community (students, faculty, and staff) with an active Georgia State email account. You may register your account and join your organizations online by following these simple instructions:
Create a Personal Account
1. Go to http://gsu.orgsync.com
2. Select “OrgSync Login”
3. Select Georgia State University as your “Community”
4. Select “Register” at the bottom right
5. Complete account information using ONLY your GSU email account
6. Complete profile information
Join an Organization
1. Go to http://gsu.orgsync.com
2. Select “OrgSync Login” and login to your account
3. Select “My Orgs” in the navigation bar and click “Join an Org”
4. Select “Browse Organizations”
5. Request to join OR enter the organization password provided by your organization administrator
OrgSync Tools and Resources
Student organizations can utilize OrgSync to manage their organization records, information and to easily communicate with their members through email, text messaging and social media like Facebook and Twitter. Also, the Student Activities Office keeps all important documents on OrgSync for organizations to access easily
Organization management resources include:
• Online Calendar—See upcoming meetings and events for your organization or the whole GSU community
• Finances—Online dues collection, create invoices, and sell goods through your online store
• Attendance—Keep volunteer hours and record event attendance
• Online Forms and Files—Create/access forms for your organization to submit online and keep records in one secure place by uploading important organization files
• Free web space for chartered student organizations
• Ability to create personal ePortfolios and online involvement records to add depth to resumes, scholarship applications and more
