The Emerging Leaders Learning Community, specially designed for first‐year students, is your first step toward becoming a student leader at Georgia State. A unique aspect of this learning community is required participation in an overnight summer leadership retreat on July 26‐27 that includes an outdoor adventure experience and interactive games. (An additional fee for this FLC of $55 covers the cost of the retreat.) If you have a desire to become active at Georgia State, this FLC is an excellent choice.
Students in this FLC will:
- enhance their leadership skills and potential
- foster their interpersonal, social, ethical and moral development
- increase their attitude of social awareness and responsibility
- be provided with opportunities for further involvement in campus life
- enhance their personal growth and development
