FLC FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions about Emerging Leaders:

• How do I sign up for the Emerging Leaders Freshman Learning Communities?
  You can sign up directly with the program advisor, Kristina Clement, Assistant Director for Leadership Development. She can be reached at kclement@gsu.edu or (404) 413-1588. You can also sign up for this FLC during Incept FLC registration.
• Why does this FLC require a participation fee?
  The fee associated with Emerging Leaders helps to offset the cost of the overnight retreat held in the summer as well as some of the additional program offerings in the fall semester.
• What if I cannot pay the additional program fee for this FLC?
  Students with demonstrated financial need should contact the program advisor, Kristina Clement, for a Fee Waiver Request form.
• What if I cannot attend the retreat on July 26-27, 2012?
  The retreat is an integral part of the Emerging Leaders experience and spaces in the program are limited to those students who can participate in the overnight retreat.
