Before classes begin, students in the Emerging Leaders program will have the opportunity to participate in an overnight retreat on July 26-27, 2012 with their fellow Emerging Leaders. During the retreat, students participate in team building exercises, complete a community service project, and enjoy a white water rafting trip down the Ocoee River. Over an evening bonfire with s’mores, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to upperclassmen about life at Georgia State University.
The retreat will take place at Eagle Ranch in Copperhill, Tennessee. The $55 program fee covers the cost of the retreat including transportation and meals. Students will meet on campus the morning of the retreat and travel on buses to Tennessee. Students will return to campus on the following day.
