What modules comprise the Applicant Tracking System?

Georgia State University installed the applicant and employment modules. The Applicant Tracking System will replace the current employment process.

Who will have access to the Applicant Tracking System?

Human Resource employees will of course have access to the GSU PPRTS. Potential Applicants, Hiring Officials, Affirmative Action Unit Coordinators, Opportunity Development and other designated persons will also have access to the GSU PPRTS.

How does the security work in GSU PPRTS?

GSU PPRTS is set up with “role based security”, which means that the people who have access can only view the parts of the system that are needed to perform their jobs. They will also be limited to viewing the department or college to which they are assigned. Applicants can only access and view information pertaining to open positions and their personal information (i.e. their resume, applications and other related documents.)

Can GSU PPRTS be accessed from outside of Georgia State University?

The GSU PPRTS can be accessed outside of GSU. Anyone with internet access can access the system.

How do I set up a user account?

Employees: Contact the Human Resources Advisory Committee member for their area or the Recruitment and Retention Office at 404-413-3270.
Applicants: Access GSU PPRTS home page and follow the directions to set up your user account and password.

How can I obtain access to the GSU PPRTS?

You can obtain access to the system by setting up a user account and password. Anyone with internet access can obtain access to the GSU PPRTS.

Can I apply in person, by fax or through the mail?

Everyone is required to apply online using GSU PPRTS.
