Panther Temps


The PantherTemps Program is designed as an in-house temporary staffing agency and is in place to assist all University departments with temporary support services in a timely, cost-effective and stress-free manner.  We will adminster all the recruiting, testing, reference-checking, hiring/firing, and orientation.  We coordinate the temporary placement and handle the administration and payroll processing.  Compared to having to do your own recruitment, PantherTemps saves you time and money, while maintaining  your flexibility. 

All potential PantherTemps employees undergo a rigorous screening, including:

  • An interview with a Panther Temps Administrator
  • Testing (Microsoft Word, Excel and Typing Test)
  • Reference checking
  • Completion of background information (criminal history and credit check)

Work assignments are offered to PantherTemps candidates on a part-time or full-time basis. Length of assignments may range from one day to six months.

The PantherTemps Administrator is responsible for building and maintaining a diverse pool of available temporary employees through active recruiting techniques and external marketing to potential candidates.
