Units
IS&T is organized into nine major units that collectively plan, develop, operate and support technology for the Georgia State University community.
The division is led by the Associate Provost for Information Systems and Technology/Chief Information Officer (CIO), J.L. Albert. The units of IS&T and their major functions are provided below.

Coordination and Planning is in the business of helping IS&T and other stakeholders come to agreement on specialized topics that span domains and projects. - Business Support Services
Business Support Services specializes in helping to facilitate efficient business operations by providing administrative and business-management support services for IS&T. - Application Engineering
Application Engineering provides a broad spectrum of (IT) solutions to support the university's specific business needs. - Professional Services
Professional Services makes technology easier to use and understand with services like instructional design, training, information design and multimedia production. Technology projects are streamlined with our project management services. - Technology Engineering
Technology Engineering designs, builds, enhances and repairs information technology infrastructure solutions. - Production Services
Production Services specializes in providing support and technology resource to help maintain the university's IT infrastructure. - Technical Support Services
