Georgia State's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) division provides a wide range of services that support many of the key systems and operations that keep the university running efficiently. Your first line of contact for many of these services is the Help Center.
- Help Center
The Help Center provides a single point of contact for Georgia State University faculty and staff to access support for software, hardware, telecommunications and network issues.
- Workstations
IS&T supports workstations and other workplace technologies used by faculty, staff and students.
- Classrooms and Labs
Workplace Technology Services installs and maintains the technology in computer labs and classrooms in the general schedule.
- Telephone Services
IS&T maintains Georgia State's telephone system.
- Security
IS&T's Information Security Department advises the campus on how to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of vital information technology resources and information.
- Networks and Servers
IS&T is responsible for providing the Georgia State technology infrastructure that includes a single data network and servers needed to operate university-wide applications and services.
- Applications and Databases
IS&T provides support for critical applications, such as Banner and RedDot, that keep Georgia State's operations running smoothly.
- Instructional Technology
From online educational systems to digital media production for classrooms, IS&T provides the Georgia State community access to cutting-edge instructional support.
