Research Computing Services

IS&T provides research computing services in the use of high performance computing resources. Services include management of computing clusters, data storage and grid nodes, as well as account management, assistance with software installation, application performance tuning and training in using job schedulers and file systems.

Research computing services are available for: 

• Petit Science Center Visualization Wall, high-resolutionvisualization environment with 200 Million pixels
• CARINA (carina.gsu.edu - IBM System p7 755 with Power7 processors)
• OCTANS (octans.gsu.edu - IBM Cluster 1350 with Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core processors)
• SURAgrid
