Grid Certificate Provisioning
Grids use public key infrastructure (PKI) security certificates. Users may request grid certificates. The ACS Certificate Authority (ACS CA) is implemented to support GSU grids and SURAgrid. The ACS CA follows best practices for secure authentication in distributed grid environments. The Certificate Policy (CP) and Certification Practices Statement (CPS) provide formal specification of CA requirements.
