Getting Started with PantherMail
Welcome to PantherMail!
This guide will help you get started with your PantherMail account. Please follow each step carefully!
Please be aware that your student email account and your CampusID account passwords are not synched. When you change your CampusID password it will not affect your student email password and vice versa. Your CampusID login includes many of the systems you access with your CampusID and CampusID password. PantherMail works best with Internet Explorer. For Macintosh users, the Firefox browser is recommended. Many of the PantherMail features will not work in Safari.
Getting Started
Before you are able to login to PantherMail, you will need your student email address and your panther number. Your login id will be will be your CampusID@student.gsu.edu and initial password will be your panther number, located on your PantherCard.
Your initial password
Your initial password for PantherMail is your Panther #. Your panther # is the 9 digit number located on the front of your student PantherCard (You will enter the panther # without the dashes).
Logging Into PantherMail
2. Sign in with your Windows Live ID and Password.
The Windows Live ID will be your student email <CampusID@student.gsu.edu>. The Password will be the PantherCard number located on the front of your card (without the dashes).
3. Click the Sign In button.
Note: If you do not know your CampusID or your Panther # Click Here for instructions.

Note: When using a public computer, uncheck Remember me on this computer and Remember my password options to preserve the security of your e-mail account.
Provide Account Information
The first time you login to Windows Live, a Provide account information screen will appear. You will need to re-enter your original Password which is your student panther #. It’s strongly recommended that you follow the instructions provided here to ensure you are able to easily reset your password and access your PantherMail account in the future.

Note: Remember the *Secret answer should be at least five characters and is NOT case sensitive.
If you already have another e-mail address you regularly use, you may enter it in Add an alternate e-mail address. This is another way you can reset your password - by having the reset sent to this alternate e-mail address. You need to type the address in both boxes.

NOTE: The “Your Information” section is significant because it is required to reset your password using the security question you have entered above.

Review and accept the Microsoft Windows Live service agreement and Privacy Statement by clicking I accept.
A Provide account information screen will appear indicating you just updated your personal information and password. Click the Sign in to Windows Live button.

Sign in your PantherMail with your student e-mail address <CampusID@student.gsu.edu> and your new password.
Click the Sign In button.

Select OK

Manage Your Account
Prerequisites: Before updating your account information, you must have your CampusID and PantherCard #.
Change Your PantherMail Password
Go to http://login.live.com/, and click Sign in. Sign in with your student email address and PantherCard #.
In the Account Summary page, change your password by selecting one of the following two options: Under Password reset information, on the Password line, click Change.

In the Change your password window, enter your old password, and then enter your new password two times.
Note: You can select the option to make your password expire every 72 days.
