Request Assistance with Requirements for Security Control/Digital Video Surveillance Systems
1. Review the Network Connections for Surveillance System Cameras and Digital Video Recorders Policy at http://www.gsu.edu/ist/conn_survcam_vidrec.html.
2. Contact the IS&T Help Center by phone 404-413-HELP (4357), or e-mail (help@gsu.edu).
3. Request that your surveillance system be reviewed prior to activation.
A ticket will be generated and distributed to the appropriate network technician. The technician will contact you (usually within 24 hours) to schedule a consultation to review the equipment to ensure that auditing capabilities, system password protection, and user access control measures are current and effective.
