Distribute a Critical Time-Sensitive System-Wide Message to all University Faculty and Staff
- Draft an email message:
- Address the message to help@gsu.edu
- Use a subject that is appropriate to the message.
- In the first line of the message, type SEND NOW.
- In the second line of the message, type FACULTY/STAFF
- Include a name and contact number in case there are questions about the content of the message (if appropriate).
- Send the message to the appropriate office (President, Provost, Vice President, or Director of University Relations) requesting that the message be approved, and then forwarded to the Help Center.
- Follow-up with a call to the Help Center (404) 413-HELP (4357), to inform them that an email for immediate distribution has been sent, and to confirm that it has been received and is being processed.

- Send the message to the Vice President for Student Services, requesting that the message be approved, and then forwarded to the Help Center.
- Follow-up with a call to the Help Center (404) 413-HELP (4357), to inform them that an email for immediate distribution has been sent, and to confirm that it has been received and is being processed.

NOTE: While the Vice President for Student Services should be notified of this communication, his or her approval is NOT REQUIRED for critical, time-sensitive system-wide messages.
