Web Space
Many students at Georgia State University enjoying creating and maintaining their own Web sites. Your Web pages reside in the public_html folder in your Lockerbox and may be stored there:
- From the campus computers for student use
- On the H: drive
- Save directly into public_html from a program
- Drag and drop files into public_html
- FTP access from anywhere
- Web development software such as Dreamweaver, Front Page, Netscape Communicator, etc.
Once created, the URL for your Web site will be in the following format: http://www.student.gsu.edu/~jdoe8 (where jdoe8 is your Username).
