Strategic Alignment
The Strategic Alignment unit specializes in helping customers acquire the greatest value out of IT solutions by matching customers' business needs with the most effective and cost-competitive technology solutions. As experts in the strategic use of information technology (IT) in higher education, the Strategic Alignment staff members work one-on-one with customers, providing assessments, benefits analyses, and research resources while keeping customers abreast of IS&T's projects, initiatives and future plans.
Strategic Alignment's services encompass:
- Account Representation providing one-on-one consultation about IT products and services.
- Research Computing expertise through conception, funding, research, publishing and recognition.
- Teaching expertise through needs assessments, learning objectives and outcomes, teaching and learning, course development and maintaining accreditation.
- Marketing Communications, Strategy and Research services including market analyses, focus groups, customer satisfaction surveys, media relations initiatives and communications planning.
- Retail Services such as product demonstration services coordinated through the Faculty Exchange.
