Estimated Costs of Attendance

In order to obtain an I-20 to attend Georgia State, prospective students must show that they have funds available that meet or exceed the figures below.  The figures below represent the minimal costs of living in Atlanta; your personal experience may differ significantly. The tuition and fees amounts below reflect the 2012-2013 rates. If you are planning to attend the university for the 2013-2014 academic year, please expect an undetermined and significant increase in tuition and fees in your financial documentation. All of the figures are subject to change without notice. 

Tuition & Fees

Please note that you must be prepared to pay a semester's tuition and fees in full at registration, including your housing if you plan to live in Georgia State Student Housing. Graduate students with assistantships must pay the mandatory fees and health insurance plus housing if you are living in Georgia State Student Housing.

All Georgia State students are expected to pay their student tuition and fees in full when they register for classes. The university does not have a payment plan or incremental payment option for the payment of tuition each semester. The tuition payment is made through the Office of Student Accounts and can be done through cash, check, credit card, or wire transfer of money from outside the U.S.
