UPCOMING TRAINING! Hiring and Hosting International Scholars
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office and Organization Development and Consulting Services will offer a training session geared towards all HR liaisons, office business managers, directors and department heads.
The training will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Capital Suite (Room 200 in University Center) so mark your calendars! Light breakfast will be provided.
The purpose of the training is to inform departments about what visa categories are appropriate for research and visiting scholars and for hiring staff who are not U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents. Presenters will review available visa categories, Georgia State's policies, and how to complete required paperwork.
Note: This session is not for internationals seeking work visas.
