IIP
International Initiatives & Partnerships is one of the newer units of the Office of International Initiatives. The unit coordinates the development, review and approval of international agreements; administers the annual international strategic initiatives (ISI) seed grants; maintains the university’s international travel registry; and coordinates special initiatives including the GSU Summer Institute and the Global Gateway, an online visualization project.
IIP staff provides advisement to faculty and staff on considerations and information for initiating partnership agreements, and submitting proposals for the annual ISI grants. Staff also maintains and generates related data through its online databases to assist the university and larger community with information on the extent of GSU’s international relationships, seed grants activities and global engagement. The unit works collaboratively with faculty and staff at the colleges as well as various administrative units to ensure that the activities it supports meet the university’s international strategic goals.
