On May 14, President Becker and Associate Provost Liu visited President Wei Zhao at the University of Macau. They discussed the potential collaborations between the two universities with regard to student exchanges, study abroad programs, and research collaboration. University of Macau is going to move to its new campus next September with the hope that its new infrastructure will attract more students studying abroad. President Becker and Associate Provost Liu also visited the Institute for Tourism Studies where our Robinson College of Business has an existing exchange program. IFT is designed to train hotel managers and specialists for tourism and is identified as another possible venue for our students to study abroad in order to gain first-hand experience during internships.
