Parent, Family & Guest Incept: New Student Orientation

Georgia State University is eager to involve parents, family members, and guests of its students in the college experience. Guests of new students entering Georgia State University are invited to attend an Incept orientation with their student. Please note that guests will have a separate schedule of meetings and activities during some parts of the Incept program.

Students can register up to two guests during their Incept conference day. Guests will only be confirmed for the Incept orientation to which their student is assigned and they should be registered through the online PAWS system at the same time as the student.  Children age three (3) and under are not required to be registered to attend Incept.

If you choose to register for Incept through the payment by mail option, you can indicate on the student Incept registration from the number of guests who will be attending.
