Allows eligible employees to take a job protected leave from work for up to 12 weeks for qualifying events.
Employees are entitled up to 18 days of leave with pay for active military duty.
Employees may donate to a sick leave pool to be used by fellow employees who have exhausted their sick time due to life threatening illnesses. Time may be donated only during Open Enrollment. Employees must donate sick time to be a member of the Donated Leave Pool.
Must be authorized at department level. Employees cannot file an appeal if denied.
