Getting Started
Welcome to Georgia State University!
As a member of the Georgia State community, you will be working with thousands of others to ensure that Georgia State remains a center of excellence in teaching, research, and service. As you begin, you will become eligible for benefits, Panther Perq's, and will want to get acquainted and comply with University policies.
Georgia State is the second largest university in the state, with students coming from every county in Georgia, every state in the nation and from over 145 countries. Information on these pages will be useful as you are getting started at Georgia State, but the best introduction to the University is provided at the New Employee Orientation page.
Day and Time:
New Employee Orientation sessions for all University employees are held every Fourth Wednesday of the month. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the program is 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
