Employee Development and Wellness Services
The Office of Employee Development & Wellness Services (EDWS) is a Human Resources unit responsible for oversight of the internal EAP, Wellness Services, New Employee Orientation and Training & Development at Georgia State University.
Faculty and Staff Assistance, is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering services for Georgia State University faculty and staff, their dependents and household members. FASA offers short term counseling and referrals ranging from work-related to personal concerns that affect everyday life.
- Panther Tracks New Employee Orientation, is coordinated by Employee Development & Wellness. Panther Tracks NEO is offered to all newly hired Staff of Georgia State University and introduces new employees to the organization, university culture, while providing critical policy, procedure and resource information.
- Training & Development programs are designed to improve individual and organizational performance in addition to assisting Georgia State University in achieving it's overall institutional goals. These programs have been carefully developed to assist employees increase their effectiveness by gaining greater knowledge of the university's operations.
