Resident Assistant

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Resident Assistant. Resident Assistants play an essential role in the residence life program here at Georgia State University. Being a Resident Assistant (RA) will challenge you to grow both personally and professionally. The experiences you gain in this role will no doubt serve you well for the rest of your life, no matter what career path you choose!

University Housing and the Student Staff Search Committee are committed to selecting the most qualified applicants for Resident Assistant positions. Our selection process for resident assistants is currently closed.

General Qualifications for Resident Assistants

• Participate in a complete the Panther L.E.A.P. leadership program in University Housing
• Be in good academic, judicial, and financial standing with the university
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Preferred on-campus living for at least one full semester
• Be a full-time student, enrolled for at least 12 credit hours per semester
