Community Building
As a university residential community, the Georgia State University residential facilities offer educational, recreational, cultural, and social programming. Residents are encouraged to be involved in the Georgia State University residence hall community and make a genuine effort to contribute to the creation and enhancement of community with other Georgia State University residents. The RA's are responsible for providing programming for their floor. The Hall Council offers area-wide programs. A portion of housing fees is allocated for area-sponsored activities.
Some examples of programs offered in Georgia State University residence halls include: movie nights, open mic nights, dance parties, Karaoke nights, and educational speakers. Let your RA or the HC know what interests you, and help make the Georgia State University residence halls a fun place to live and learn.
