Residential Life at Georgia State University values the importance of bridging the gap between a resident’s experience inside and outside of the classroom. Living Learning Communities exists within our housing program as an integral part of the holistic development of our residents. We believe that through LLCs we can help students achieve their goals through the provision of high quality support services and comprehensive programs that stimulate, enhance, and extend student learning, empowering GSU graduates to become active, engaged citizen leaders in Georgia and throughout the world. Students who participate in a Living Learning Community will attain the following developmental goals.
Share a passion? Share a purpose? Then share a floor.
Living Learning Communities (LLCs) offer distinctive themed living options to our residents. LLCs are supported by programs, events and faculty interaction centered on members’ interests. All Living Learning Communities are planned and supported by University Housing staff along with member residents, who often build genuine relationships and make life-long friends through meaningful interaction and shared experiences.
What is a Living Learning Community?
A Living Learning Community (LLC) is a group of students who live together on the same floor in our residence halls that have a common interest. They are a great way to meet other students, faculty, and staff members at GSU.
So why live in a LLC?
