Graduate Assistant

Thank you for your interest in the Graduate Assistantships in University Housing at Georgia State University. Georgia State has offered an on-campus residential experience to students since 1996. We currently have five residence halls/areas to accommodate our residents’ housing needs. The University Lofts houses the sophomore experience program (SAIL) and a mixture of both first-year and upper-class students. The University Commons, which opened in fall 2007, houses undergraduate students and several learning communities. The Freshman Hall, which opened in fall 2009, is home to 330 first-year students and includes an all-you-care-to-eat dining center. We opened Greek Housing in fall 2010, which has town-homes for nine of Greek organizations at GSU.

Our latest addition is Piedmont North, which houses approximately 900 students, most of them first-year students and like Freshman Hall, has an all-you-care-to eat dining facility. Our long-term goal is to provide a premier living-learning experience to 7,000 students by 2015. Our GA recruitment and selection process is currently closed. At the current time, we do not have any available Graduate Assistant positions available for 2012-2013. We appreciate your interest. Should our position availability change in the near future, we will post selection process information on this page.

Sincerely,

Shannon Corey
