Thanks to a partnership between PurDigital Media, Inc. and Georgia State University, student residents receive free in-room high-speed Internet access, Wi-Fi service in residence hall common areas, basic television service, and common room phone service within your personal living area.

You will not need to pre-register for PurDigital high speed internet, basic television service, or common room phone service. You will need to pre-register if you wish to add any premium television channels or add a personal phone line within your room.

Internet, Phone, and Basic Television Connection Instructions:

Once you arrive on campus follow these steps:

For Internet Service:

1. Plug your computer into the Ethernet jack in your bedroom.

2. Start your computer and open a web browser. You will automatically be redirected to the PurDigital registration screen.

3. Enter your GSU email address and password. (Call the GSU Help Desk if you need assistance identifying this information)

4. Follow the prompts. Once finished, you will have immediate access to the Internet.

For TV Service:

1. Review the attached Basic Cable Channel Lineup for details on what is included in your Basic Cable Package.
2. Simply plug your television into the analog cable port located in your bedroom with the provided analog cable (in-room). Your TV is ready to power on.
3. If you would like premium TV channels you must order them online by clicking this link pre-register for television premiums. Visit the PurDigital Help Desk located at the Welcome Desk in the main lobby of the University Commons Building or the main lobby of the Lofts to pick up your equipment. A digital set top box is required for premium services.

For Phone Service:
1. Phone Service within the common area is free. Simply plug your phone into the analog port.
2. If you would like your own personal phone line within your bedroom, you need to pre-register for a personal phone line.
