
During the summer, University Housing provides accommodations in our facilities to a wide variety of conference groups such as: youth sports camps, academic and educational workshops for adults, Georgia State University Orientation, religious groups, etc. A team of approximately 2-3 Conference Managers (CMs) are responsible for managing the delivery of these services to contracted sponsors and guests as arranged through the University Housing Conference Services office. A full-time Conference Coordinator supervises the Conference Managers. The Conference Managers supervise the Conference Assistants (CAs) during the summer season.
Summer Conference Assistants (CAs) are responsible for providing front-line quality service to customers living in University Housing facilities. Staff will be a representative of University Housing Conference Services and will be expected to become knowledgeable about summer conference operations and provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to conference participants and fellow staff. The position requires a flexible person who wants the opportunity to learn and use new skills daily, enjoys helping people, and wants to be an active and supportive team member.
