As of right now, the fall 2010 academic calendar for Georgia State has not been published. This calendar directly affects our move-in and training dates for Resident Assistants. Therefore, these important dates have not yet been confirmed. Additionally, we do anticipate that we will have less time between the completion of summer school and the start of fall classes than we have traditionally had in past years. As a result, it is highly likely that we will incorporate some RA training sessions into the upcoming spring semester, probably on Friday afternoons and/or Saturdays throughout the month of April. Please plan accordingly and we will be sure to communicate our dates as soon as they are confirmed. Before making any travel plans, if selected, we encourage you to check in with our professional staff.
** If you are selected as a staff member, please note that the training dates and move-in dates are not negotiable. Training dates and move-in require a full-time commitment**
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. We look forward to receiving your application.
Sincerely,
Staff Selection Committee
