Undergraduate Research Conference

Each spring, the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference features presentations from undergraduate students in the Colleges of Business, Arts and Sciences, Education, Health and Human Sciences, and the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.

For Students

Students may submit proposals based on scholarly projects that were conducted while they were undergraduates at Georgia State University.  All projects must be sponsored by a full-time GSU faculty member who must approve the student's proposal before it is submitted.

The primary author/artist for a presentation must attend the conference.  Other authors/artists are strongly encouraged to attend.

All communication regarding proposals and presentations will be directed to the primary author/artist via his/her GSU student email account.  The student is responsible for responding to these communications in a timely fashion and for sharing information about the conference with any other members of the presentation group.

For Faculty

Faculty sponsors must complete and submit the online Faculty Sponsorship Form by Friday, January 28, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

Faculty sponsors are responsible for supervising their students' GSURC project.  Please review the proposal before your student(s) complete(s) the submission.

Faculty sponsors are strongly encouraged to attend the conference. Sponsors are also invited to attend the Presenters' Luncheon and Awards Ceremony which will take place in Veteran's Memorial Hall immediately following the Keynote Address from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
