Housing

Located in the top three floors of Building D in the University Commons the GSU Honors College has dedicated housing for our students in the Honors Living Learning Community.  Honors College students who take advantage of this resource will have the opportunity to live with and be surrounded by other high-achieving students in one of the newest and most desirable housing locations on campus.

Our goal is that Honors College students can learn from each other and enrich their intellectual lives by living with like-minded people, yet take advantage of living in a residence hall with other GSU students.  We expect all of our students to share a commitment to academic excellence, student involvement, and responsible living.

Students living in the University Commons have the option of choosing a private single room in either a two or four bedroom apartment style unit (depending on availability).  All units come with a fully-equipped kitchen and furnished bedrooms and living area spaces.  Also, each floor has its own study/community lounge space and each building has a fully equipped laundry facility.  See a virtual tour of the University Commons here.

If you intend to live on campus, we urge you to apply for housing as soon as possible.  Please visit the University Housing website  and follow the link entitled "Apply for Housing and Parking."  If you want to live with other honors students in the Commons, be sure to designate "Honors" as your lifestyles preference and "Commons" as your building choice. You will also need to fill out the Living Learning Community Application.

Honors housing questions can be directed to Annahita Jimmerson at ajimmerson@gsu.edu.
