Students who wish to be considered for inclusion in the Fall 2013 freshman class need only to complete the application process for admission to the university, preferably apply by the Early Action deadline. The Honors College will review your application, test scores and transcripts, and will notify successful candidates by mailed letter and email communication. The average score of accepted students for Fall 2012 was approximately 1300 SAT (math and verbal sections only) and/or 29 ACT Composite score. The average high school GPA (core, unweighted) was a 3.8.
Currently enrolled Georgia State students may apply to the Honors College upon completion of at least 12 hours of coursework while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 or better.
Transfer students with a 3.5 GPA and at least 30 completed credit hours are also welcome to apply.
