I first learned about study abroad during my freshmen Incept orientation. I was amazed with the fact that it was possible to study in a different country while still receiving college credit. After much research, I decided to study abroad in Valencia, Spain. While abroad, I took four advanced Spanish classes. In class, I loved learning about the Spanish culture because I was able to put what I learned in class into practical use. While in Spain, I learned about a completely different culture and lifestyle and had the opportunity to travel to other parts of Europe, as well. This experience has opened my eyes to a completely new world. It is impossible to put into words everything that I learned while studying abroad; however, I do know that I would not trade my study abroad experience for anything. It has truly been the best experience of my life.
