The Honors Program

Georgia State University's Honors Program offers high-achieving and highly motivated students the resources to excel academically and to prepare for successful professional careers. Honors students have access to individualized advisement, small classes and seminars, priority registration, and special housing in the University Commons. The Honors Program also provides dedicated facilities for seminars, study, computer use, and conversation. Honors students work with accomplished faculty on directed and independent research projects, and may take advantage of special opportunities for study abroad. Most important, perhaps, the Honors Program provides a community of talented students and the environment of a small, selective college in the midst of a large, comprehensive university.
