What is Student Lockerbox?
Your Student Lockerbox is the a web-based access for Georgia State University student’s home directories. It is designed exclusively for GSU students and paid for by the Student Technology Fee.How do I access and use my Student Lockerbox?
1. Go to https://elocker.student.gsu.edu/.
2. Enter your student ID in the User Name and password in the box. This will be the same as your student e-mail login information.
3. Click OK.

Click on a filename and then right-click on it. A context-sensitive menu will appear. Click Download... If you are asked whether you want to open or save the file, select Save and then browse to the area on your computer's hard disk where you would like to save the file.
How do I upload files?
In your Lockerbox, browse to the destination directory where you would like for your file to go. Pull down the FILE menu within your LockerBox and select Upload. A new window will appear and select the Browse button. Find the file on your local floppy/hard drive and the select the Upload button to send to your NetStorage Area. At upload completion, your screen will refresh and you should verify that your new file is listed. Closing the browser during your file upload may affect data accuracy, so please verify your contents.
How do I rename files?
Click on the filename and then right-click on it again. A context sensitive menu will appear. Select Rename...and type a new name for the file. Hit the Enter key on your keyboard when you are done and the file will be renamed.
How do I navigate folders within my Lockerbox?
To browse between folders in your locker, single-click on the folder in the left frame or double-click the folder if it is within the right frame. To move "up" in the folder hierarchy (i.e. from Folder A to the folder that contains Folder A), click the up-level folder icon in the menu bar.
How do I move a file from one folder to another?
Click the file and then right-click on it. Select Move. A message instructing you to navigate to the correct folder should appear at the bottom of the page, along with a "Paste" button. Use NetStorage to navigate to the folder where you want the file to go and then click Paste. The file will be moved to the correct location.
How do I copy a file from one folder to another?
Follow the "Move" instructions above but select "Copy" from the context-sensitive menu instead.
How much space do I have in my Lockerbox
Your Student Lockerbox will hold 50MB of data.
What other ways can I access my Lockerbox?
From campus computers, you can save data on H: Drive which is Your Student Lockerbox. You also have FTP Access by connecting to www.student.gsu.edu with an FTP Client. Your personal webpage is located in the public_html folder in your locker.
How do I logout?
To exit your student lockerbox, click in the top of the window.
What kind of files can I put in my locker?
A locker is your personal storage space and is available to be used at your discretion. You must abide by the guidelines set forth in the University's Computer Ethics Policy.
