Request Authorization to Probe or Monitor University Information Systems
Procedures
- Obtain written approval from the individual whose information you wish to probe or monitor.
Department Heads, or other appropriate positions of authority, may also grant permission to have an individual's information probed or monitored. - Inform the individual—in writing—of the specific time and date the investigation will occur.
- Notify the individual when the investigation is complete.
