IS&T Help Center

The IS&T Help Center provides Georgia State University faculty and staff with support for software, hardware, telecommunications and network issues.   If we cannot resolve your issue, we will assign it to the appropriate IS&T department.

Report an Issue

If you have a technical problem, you can e-mail the IS&T Help Center.  We will respond to your request within four hours.

However, if your problem is CRITICAL, please call us at 404-413-HELP (4357) in order to resolve the issue faster.


IS&T staff participate in Georgia State's orientation day for new faculty

The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) division delivers information and instructional technology services to the Georgia State University community. The division is committed to capturing the power of technology to transform the university experience and become a national higher-education leader in information technology.

The New Help Desk Application

To ensure that each technical incident or service request is properly logged, tracked and resolved, IS&T uses Numara's Footprints.  This system allows you to check on the status of your incident and create a new request.  You may go to http://helpdesk.gsu.edu/ and login with your CampusID or use the login to the right.


System / Network Status

No Issues

There is a reported issue regarding PantherMail. When students attempt to access their inbox they receive the following error message: Your mailbox is currently unavailable. Please wait 30 seconds, and then try to access it again. In the meantime, you can access Instant Messaging through Outlook Web Access. Currently, we are working with Microsoft to resolve this issue. Please check back for updates.
