This weeklong event occurs each October and includes a variety of educational activities, including health fairs, designed to promote and encourage low-risk alcohol choices.

Great American Smoke Out
Today’s your day to Quit! The GASO occurs each November. The purpose of GASO is to encourage tobacco users to abstain for one day and attempt to seek assistance for remaining tobacco free. The event is also for nonsmokers who can help promote the “smoke out” message to their tobacco using friends or family.

Safer Break Week
Spring is in the air! This week of fun-filled activities will give you ideas about how to make your Spring Break healthy, safe, and memorable.

National Alcohol Screening Day
The purpose of NASD is twofold: 1) to educate students about how to make low-risk alcohol choices, and 2) to assist students who may have alcohol and/or drug concerns or issues.

Mocktail Challenge
What is a mocktail?  It is a flavorful, fruity, delicious drink without the alcohol! Come out and compete for prizes by making your favorite non-alcoholic beverage.  Bring it on! (Please Note: This event occurs at different times and places throughout the year!)
