Graduation Regalia
No graduation day is complete without the right attire. Find out here how to get your commencement wardrobe.
Cap and Gown
Students who indicate on their graduation application that they will attend the commencement ceremony will be required to purchase regalia from the Georgia State University Bookstore. Students who wish to pre-order their regalia should watch their email account for instructions.
Students who do not pre-order regalia should attend the bookstore Commencement Fair where graduation candidates can order their cap, gown and hoods. At the fair, you will be required to give measurements for your regalia. For more information contact the bookstore directly at (404) 413-9700. More information will be sent to the degree candidates by the midpoint of their scheduled semester of graduation. If you change your mind and decide you want to attend the ceremony, please notify the Graduation Office at 231 Sparks Hall by no later than semester mid-point. Baccalaureate students who have earned university honors will receive their honor cord with their tickets.
Hoods
Ph.D. candidates will be hooded during the Spring and Fall commencement exercises. You may purchase your hood through the University Bookstore. You must bring it to the Commencement Office - Sparks 245 - by Friday, November 30, with your name fastened via safety pin on the inside.

Blue Tassel Graduate & Senior Legacy Gift
Support the Graduate and Senior Legacy with a gift of $20.07 and your support will be commemorated with a blue tassel for you to wear at commencement.
