Applications for admission, the $50 application fee and all required credentials (such as transcripts and test scores) must be submitted by established deadline dates to ensure consideration for admission for the desired term. Applications are good for one academic year (Fall, Spring and Summer). Each fall semester begins a new academic year. If you applied for admission in a previous academic year, you will need to submit a new application and a new application fee. If you have applied for undergraduate admission within the current academic year, but did not register for classes, complete a reactivation form.
*Please note that requests for reactivation must be received by the regular application deadlines for the desired term.

Freshman and Transfer Applicants
Applicants interested in early registration dates and orientation, university housing, presidential assistantships and/or financial aid are urged to apply and complete their applications by the Priority Deadline Dates listed below. Also, applicants for professional and clinical programs in the College of Health and Human Sciences should make themselves aware of earlier deadlines for admission to specific programs.

Postbaccalaureate Applicants or Visiting (Transient) Student
Applicants who wish to register early in the registration schedule should complete applications by the deadlines listed below:

Applying
There are three ways to apply:
- Apply online and submit electronically. This is the preferred application method. The application fee must be paid by credit card or our online check payment system.
Online Undergraduate Admission Application
If you have previously attended Georgia State, or if you wish to enroll as a GSU-62 student, do not use this application. Please choose one of the other options below. GSU-62 students and those who have previously attended are not required to submit the application fee.
- Print the application, fill it out and mail the application, a check or money order for $50.00, and official transcripts (left in sealed envelopes) to Georgia State. Please include your social security number on the check.
