Welcome to Georgia State University’s Financial Literacy Program. The program was launched in January 2012 and is an initiative of the Office of Student Financial Aid. 

What is Financial Literacy?

Financial Literacy is the knowledge gained to implement the most effective and successful money management practices. Financial Literacy is vital for an individuals’ professional and personal growth.

Mission Statement: The goal of the Financial Literacy program is to provide Georgia State University students with the information and tools to be financially literate and successful. The program will provide information and tools on the following financial literacy topics:

It is important to know what you have borrowed in student loans.  You can view your student loan history in the National Student Loan Data System  (http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/).
