About ADA Restroom Projects
These are the descriptions of the restroom ADA upgrades done this fiscal year:
• Natural Science Restrooms – Upgrade of restrooms on all floors (10 total) to meet GA Accessibility Code; includes demolition and retrofit of existing restrooms with new washroom equipment, stalls, water saving devices and plumbing fixtures, finishes, and upgraded related HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical components; and added new push-plate ADA door operators.
• Sparks Hall and Kell Hall Restrooms – Upgrade of remaining restrooms in Sparks Hall on floors 1,3 and 4, (6 total) and Kell Hall Unisex Restroom (1 total) on Ground Floor to meet GA Accessibility Code; includes demolition, abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, major retrofit of existing restrooms with new washroom equipment, stalls, water saving devices and plumbing fixtures, finishes, and upgraded related HVAC , Plumbing and Electrical components; and added new push plate ADA door operators.
• Standard Building – Upgrade of restrooms on floors 2 to 11 (20 total) to meet GA Accessibility Code; includes demolition, abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, retrofit of existing restrooms with new washroom equipment, finishes, water saving devices and plumbing fixtures, and upgraded related HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical components; and added new push plate ADA door operators.
