Welcome to the Division of External Affairs. Every day, our team of talented professionals works to advance and promote the image, reputation and recognition of Georgia State University. To accomplish this mission, the division oversees a wide variety of programs and activities which serve both the internal and external Georgia State constituencies.
The three departments within the External Affairs division are the Alumni Association, State Relations and University Relations. Through these offices, the division seeks to motivate government leaders, alumni, faculty and staff, friends, corporations, foundations and other groups to participate and invest in the future of Georgia State University.

About the Division of External Affairs
The Office of the Vice President for External Affairs provides leadership to the institution that results in increased advocacy and support to help Georgia State University achieve its goals and objectives. To accomplish its mission, the office oversees a wide variety of programs and activities to educate and involve diverse constituencies to enhance the image, reputation and recognition of Georgia State University. The offices within the External Affairs division are the Alumni Association, State Relations and University Relations.
