Paul Gorski, an acclaimed social justice activist and the founder of EdChange.org, will present an interactive presentation on "The 'Culture of Poverty' and Other Myths that Harm Low-Income Students." The purpose of the presentation is to deepen the understanding of what contributes to underachievement among low-income students. This free event is open to all community members who have a stake in the education of children - teachers, principals, teacher educators, researchers and others.
