Transfer Requirements
Welcome to Georgia State University! We are glad you have chosen to transfer here. Think of your Undergraduate Catalog as your survival guide. The catalog is always available online for your service 24 hours a day. This catalog will keep you informed of academic policies, course descriptions, and majors offered. Below are some helpful links to get you acclimated to right away to things you need to know.
We have also designed a 20 mintute, online pre-orientation to help new transfer students transitition and understand more about Georgia State policies and procedures, which may be different than the policies at your previous school. Pre-orientation does no replace attending Incept: New Student Orientation or International Student Orientation if you're an international student. You should plan to attend one of these orientation programs on campus once you have completed this online pre-orientation.
