Transcripts
Current and former Georgia State University students may order transcripts via GoSOLAR. You can pick up your transcript at 292 Kell Hall (photo ID required) or have it mailed to you If you have a financial obligation to the university, your transcript will not be released.
How to Request an Official Transcript
- Access GoSolar
- Enter your CampusID and your password. To look up your CampusID, click on the “CampusID Lookup”. If never assigned a CampusID, click on “Access Transcript Information”.
- Select Student Records
- Select Request Printed/Official Transcript
- Select the address or type of transcript you are requesting, and then click Continue (If your transcript is to be sent to none of the listed address types, leave all fields blank)
- Enter applicable address information if needed, and then click Continue
- Enter the number of transcripts needed, and then click Continue
- Ensure that the information in the request summary is correct, and then click Submit Request
- Make sure all charges are correct (if applicable), and then click Continue
- Enter credit card information (if applicable), and then click Submit Payment
- If your payment is successful, you will see the message "Your payment has been received." You must then click Continue to complete your transcript request. If we are experiencing any hardware problems, you will receive a “technical problems” message. You need to try again later. If you continue to experience difficulty using the web, report the problems to the Help Center at 404-413-4357(HELP). You can also email us at help@gsu.edu.
Transcript orders are filled within 5 business days. You are entitled to 5 free transcripts in your lifetime. After five transcripts have been requested, a $10 fee will be assessed for each additional transcript.
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA)
FERPA protects student rights regarding educational records maintained by educational institutions. In accordance with FERPA, Georgia State University does not release information regarding any student without the consent of the student.
