State Scholars Program
The State Scholars Program provides oversight for services supporting Georgia State’s academically high-achieving students. State Scholars refers to a cohort of students which includes recipients of the Presidential, Berner, The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund awards, University Scholar Assistants, and students invited to join the Community of Scholars at the Lofts based on academic merit; either a freshman index score of 2900 or above or a GPA of at least 3.3 after 30 semester hours.
State Scholars are eligible for these services:
- Georgia State University Scholarships
Georgia State offers several premier scholarships for undergraduates.
- Housing
Discover the University Lofts located in the center of campus.
- College Honors Program
- The benefits of this program include small classes and close contact with faculty members.
- Waivers
Out-of-State Tuition Waivers allow students to pay in-state rather than out-of-state tuition.
