Opportunities for Latin American and Hispanic Students (OLA)
The Opportunities for Latin American and Hispanic Students Program is a “one-stop shop” for information regarding financial aid, scholarships, internships, academic advisement, career counseling, service opportunities, student organizations, and leadership development. The main goals of the program are to provide the comprehensive support system necessary for students to be successful in college, while training them to be future leaders in the community.
Outreach efforts with middle and high school students as well as participation in regional and national academic and leadership conferences provide opportunities for undergraduate students to "give forward," build community, promote higher education, and develop leadership skills. In addition, the program offers opportunities for parents, community members, and organizations to partner with Georgia State to promote higher education within Atlanta’s Latin American and Hispanic community.
